The R FR 3011 Rack Frame provides centralised power for up to 10 Series 3000 MiniModules. The enclosure can also accommodate an optional controller and redundant power supply. Module power cables plug directly into the RFR 3011, providing power and data connectivity to the modules. Power supplies, controller and MiniModules are all hot swappable in the RFR 3011.

The R FR 3011 can be used stand alone with free standing MiniModules connected, but it is primarily designed for use with the R FR 3005 rack frame assembly which mechanically secures MiniModules onto a 19-inch rack mounting plate. When combined this forms a self contained 19-inch rack mount system.

Alternatively the R FR 3011 can be located away from the R FR 3005 and the modules connected via extension cables. Optional redundant power, centralised remote control and monitoring is possible within this frame. The R FR 3011 also features a itegral termination panel for control system connectivity and system expansion.
